Exhaust Manifold RH

Removal

1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Raise and support the vehicle.





3. Remove the exhaust flange nuts.
4. Lower the vehicle.





5. Remove the exhaust manifold bolts and stud bolts.
6. Remove the exhaust manifold gasket and the exhaust manifold.

Installation

1. Position the exhaust manifold gasket and the exhaust manifold.





2. Install the bolts and the nuts.
^ Tighten in the sequence shown in two stages.
^ Stage 1: Tighten to 10 Nm (8 ft. lbs.).
^ Stage 2: Tighten to 23 Nm (17 ft. lbs.).
3. Raise and support the vehicle.





4. Install the exhaust flange nuts.
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Connect the battery ground cable.
